16.5 oz. pkg. chocolate chip cookie dough
¼ c. peanut butter
½ c. brown sugar; lightly packed
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
½ c. chocolate chips
2 Tbsp. shortening
Preheat oven to 350°. Press chocolate chip cookie dough into a greased 9x13 dish. Bake 15 minutes. Let cool.
Mix peanut butter and brown sugar with softened cream cheese. Spread on the cooled chocolate chip cookie base. Mix chocolate chips and shortening in a small bowl. Melt in microwave approximately 1 to 1½ minutes. Drizzle melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer; spread chocolate. Once chocolate is cooled and hardened, cut into slices and serve. —16 servings.
