Select Sires Inc. Announces 2026 Summer Interns

This summer, 16 individuals with a strong interest in expanding their knowledge of the A.I. industry will join the Select Sires Inc. team. Select Sires offers a wide range of opportunities across multiple departments.
Production interns Camryn DeVore, Hannah Chapman, Hailey Dee, Emma Orahood, Cody Workinger and Jada Danielson will assist in delivering daily care to Select Sires' bulls. Joining the global marketing communications, Low Carbon Technologies (LCT), talent development and data analytics teams are Liliana Phillips, Sophia Gomes, Mallory Myers, Libby Ramge and Joseph Doumit. The veterinary and semen processing laboratory teams welcome Brandon Zuercher and Ella Resor. The sire development and marketing, beef, and global dairy solutions interns are Zach Johnson, Alli Perry and Amelia Fuller.
"Select Sires offers hands-on internships each year that help to expand knowledge of the industry and give interns the opportunity to contribute to our day-to-day operations," said David Thorbahn, President and CEO of Select Sires Inc. "Exposing them to the opportunities at Select Sires will help them gain valuable experience, which is a critical piece of their development and helps the Select Sires federation identify future leaders of our organization."
Cheney, Kansas native Camryn DeVore joins Select Sires as one of six livestock production interns. DeVore will be a senior at Kansas State University studying animal science and industry.
From Plain City, Ohio, Hailey Dee will also join as a livestock production intern at the Kellgren Center. She will be a junior at the University of Findlay studying animal science on the pre-veterinary pathway.
Cody Workinger of Canal Fulton, Ohio, will be based at the Hoyt Center. Workinger will be a senior at Wilmington College studying agribusiness.
Liliana Phillips of Sidney, Ohio, will be a senior at The Ohio State University and will join the global marketing communications department as the corporate communications intern. Phillips is an agricultural communication major, president of Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow and public relations chair for Meat Science Club.
Sophia Gomes of Tulare, Calif., will be the World Wide Sires, Ltd. international marketing intern. She will be a senior at California State University, Chico studying agriculture science: communications and leadership.
Mallory Myers of Thornville, Ohio, will join Select Sires as the LCT intern. Myers will be a senior at Kansas State University where she studies agribusiness with a minor in global food systems leadership.
Libby Ramge of Marysville, Ohio, will join Select Sires as talent development intern. She will be a junior studying agriscience education at The Ohio State University where she is also the president of Meat Science Club and a College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences ambassador.
Joining the team as a data analytics intern from Troy, Idaho, is Joseph Doumit. He will be a senior at the University of Idaho, where he studies animal science and agricultural economics.
Brandon Zuercher of Jenera, Ohio, will join Select Sires as a veterinary intern. Zuercher studies at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and will be going into his third year this fall.
Joining Select Sires as the semen processing and research intern is Ella Resor. She is a University of Findlay graduate from New Knoxville, Ohio. Resor plans to continue her education at Ohio State University in animal sciences as she begins her master's degree, focusing on ruminant nutrition.
Zach Johnson, of Tunbridge, Vt., will serve as the sire development and marketing intern for Select Sires this summer. Johnson will be a junior at The Ohio State University studying animal science.
Joining Select Sires as the beef intern is Alli Perry of Fayetteville, Tenn. Perry is a recent Oklahoma State University graduate earning a bachelor's degree in animal science.
Amherst, Wis. native Amelia Fuller will join Select Sires as the global dairy solutions intern. Fuller will be a senior at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville studying animal science.
