Hannah Fuel Named Holstein Princess

Hannah Fuel of Greensburg, Ind. is the 2026 Indiana Holstein princess. She was crowned Feb. 14 during the Indiana Holstein Assn.'s annual meeting.
The 17-year-old has shown dairy cattle since she was very young. She is a ninth-year 4-H'er and competes at her county fair.
Her family has 60 head in their herd. Last year, she purchased her first registered Holstein and was able to show her at a couple shows.
"I've always been around cows," she said.
Her family partners with a local dairy farm to house all of their cows.
This summer, Fuel will attend the Indiana Holstein Show in June and the Indiana State Fair in August to pass out ribbons. She plans to do that at several other county fairs as well.
"In August, I would like to go into public schools and just teach kids about the dairy industry," she said, noting that there are many myths surrounding dairy cattle.
