Diner-Delight Salad

16 oz. box fusilli or rotini pasta
1 c. mayonnaise
¾ c. whole milk
1 oz. packet ranch seasoning mix
1 lemon, juiced
¼ c. Parmesan cheese, grated
½ tsp. ground black pepper
16 oz. carton grape tomatoes, halved
2 c. romaine lettuce, thinly sliced
½ c. red onion, chopped
¼ c. fresh herbs such as dill and/or parsley, chopped
12 oz. bacon, cooked and crumbled, cooled to room temperature
In a large pot of salted, boiling water, cook the pasta to al dente, according to the package directions. Drain, rinse under cold water and let pasta cool completely.
In a large bowl, add the mayonnaise, milk, ranch seasoning mix, lemon juice, Parmesan and pepper; whisk to combine. Add the cooled pasta, tomatoes, lettuce, onions, herbs and ½ of the crumbled bacon to the dressing in the bowl and gently fold to coat. Sprinkle salad with the remaining bacon.—8 servings.
