Steakhouse Potatoes

1 Tbsp. butter, softened

3 russet potatoes, peeled and cubed

1 c. heavy cream

½ c. 2% low-fat milk

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour

Salt to taste

Black pepper to taste

1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated

Preheat oven to 350°. Using the butter, grease a 9x13 baking dish. Spread the potatoes evenly in the prepared baking dish.

In a large bowl, add the heavy cream, milk, garlic, flour, salt and black pepper and whisk to combine. Evenly pour the cream mixture over the potatoes. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Carefully remove the foil and bake until the potatoes are easily pierced with a fork, about 40 minutes more.

Sprinkle potatoes evenly with the Cheddar cheese and bake until the cheese is melted, about 5-10 minutes. Allow potatoes to cool 5 minutes. —6 servings.
