Teriyaki Burgers

1½ lbs. ground beef

3 Tbsp. teriyaki sauce

1 Tbsp. honey

1 tsp. salt

¾ tsp. ground ginger

2 cloves garlic, minced

4 hamburger buns, buttered and toasted

Lettuce leaves

Tomato slices

Grilled pineapple rings

Combine first 6 ingredients, shape into 4 patties. Cook patties on grill. Place on bun with tomato, lettuce, grilled pineapple and desired condiments.

Grilled Pineapple Rings

6 Tbsp. honey

2 Tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon or lime juice

Pineapple rings, patted dry

In a small bowl, combine honey and juice. Brush glaze onto both sides of each piece of pineapple. Oil or spray the grill rack with nonstick cooking spray. Place pineapple on grill and cook approximately 5 minutes on each side, turning so that grill marks are on both sides, until the pineapple becomes fragrant and starts to dry out on the surface. Remove from grill and brush with any additional glaze one more time or drizzle with additional honey.
