Suspect in Area Barn Fires Arrested

The Elkhart County Sheriff's office has made an arrest in its investigation into a series of suspicious barn fires.
According to Cpt. Michael Culp, Joseph D. Hershberger, 41, of Nappanee, has been taken into custody on a preliminary charge of arson, a Level 4 felony.
No further information was available at press time.
